Post to TikTok from Buildy
Connect TikTok in Social Media, make a photo, carousel or video post, and post it directly or save it as a draft in your TikTok inbox to finish in the app.
Buildy publishes photos, photo carousels of up to 9 images, and videos to TikTok. Connect TikTok once in Social Media. When you publish, choose to post directly or save a draft in your TikTok inbox.
Steps
- Open Social Media from Dashboard, or Tools on a phone.
- Click Connect accounts or Manage connections, choose TikTok in the panel, then click Connect TikTok. Sign in and allow Buildy to post.
- Click New Post, choose TikTok, a post type and a topic, then click Continue and Start with Buildy. Turn on Carousel post for a set of photos.
- For a video, open Images & Video, click Create a Video, and ask for a vertical video. See Generate videos. When it is ready, click Send to a social post.
- Open the draft, check the caption, and click Publish to TikTok. In the Post to TikTok dialog, under How to post, choose:
- Post to TikTok to publish now.
- Save as draft in TikTok to get a draft in your TikTok inbox. You add sounds and effects and post it in the TikTok app.
Good to know
- Each post goes to one TikTok account.
- TikTok ads are separate. They run through the TikTok Ads page in Ads.
Common problems
"TikTok is temporarily limiting new posts for this account. Please try again later."
TikTok limits how many posts one account can publish in a day. Try again later, or choose Save as draft in TikTok.
The video is the wrong shape
TikTok wants vertical video. Ask for "a vertical 9:16 video" when you create it.
