Post to LinkedIn from Buildy

Buildy posts to your personal LinkedIn profile. It cannot post to a company Page. Connect LinkedIn once in Social Media. LinkedIn ends the connection after 60 days, so expect to reconnect every two months.

Steps

1. Open Social Media from Dashboard, or Tools on a phone.
2. Click Connect accounts or Manage connections, choose LinkedIn in the panel, then click Connect LinkedIn. Sign in and allow Buildy to post.
3. Click New Post, choose LinkedIn, a post type and a topic, then click Continue and Start with Buildy. Educational and Behind the Scenes posts work well on LinkedIn.
4. Open the draft and click Publish to LinkedIn, or Schedule for a later time.

Good to know

• LinkedIn connections expire after 60 days. The account shows Expires soon, then Expired. Open Manage connections, choose LinkedIn, and click Reconnect. Scheduled posts need a valid connection at the time they go out.
• Ask in chat for longer posts: "Write a LinkedIn post about the lessons from our first year, about 200 words."
• To promote a company Page, use LinkedIn Ads.
