Copy a project with a Remix link
Click Publish & Share, then Get link under Remix link. Anyone with the link can copy your site's design and code into their own Buildy account.
A Remix link lets another Buildy user make their own copy of your project. Use it to share a template, hand a site to a partner, or copy your own project into another account.
Steps
- Click Publish & Share at the top right. On a phone, use Publish at the top right.
- Under Remix link, click Get link. If the site is not published yet, Buildy publishes it first.
- Read the warning. Anyone with the link can copy the project, and you cannot take a copy back.
- Optional: open Advanced copy options to also copy things like your data, media and agents.
- Click Generate Remix Link and copy it.
The person opens the link, sees a preview, and clicks Remix This Project. They need a paid Buildy plan. The copy is theirs and does not change when you change yours.
To change the copy options later, click Manage link, change them, and click Save copy options. Click Revoke remix link to stop new copies.
What is never copied
Contacts, app users, published posts, connected social and ad accounts, saved keys, domains and phone numbers.
Copy a project inside your own account
Go to your home page, open the menu on the project card, and click Duplicate. The copy does not include app users, contacts, saved keys, connected accounts or domains. If the project used keys for other services, ask Buildy in chat to add them again.
Common problems
"A paid plan is required to remix projects."
The person copying needs a paid plan. They can choose one on Billing & Upgrades and open the link again.
I want to give the project to a client, not share a copy
Send to client shows in Publish & Share only on projects you built with the Buildy AI Consultant tools. See Buildy AI Consultant. For other projects, send a Remix link.
