Get what you want from Buildy

Tell Buildy what you want the way you would tell a person who builds for you. Say which page, what to change and how it should look.

Tell Buildy what you want the way you would tell a person who builds for you. The more specific you are, the closer the first result is to what you want, and the fewer credits it uses.

Be specific

Say where, what and how it should look:

On the Services page, add a pricing table with three plans: Basic $29, Pro $59, Premium $99. Use the same colors as the header.

  • Name the page and the spot. "On the home page, under the main photo" is better than "somewhere at the top".
  • Give your real details. Your real prices, opening hours, names and addresses. Without them, Buildy writes sample text.
  • Describe the look. "Dark background, large white heading, rounded photo on the right." Or attach a screenshot of a site you like and say "make it look like this".
  • Number several changes. If you want more than one change, put them in a numbered list.
  • Say what is off. If the result is close, say what to fix: "Good, but make the heading smaller and the button green."

Requests that miss

  • "Make it better." Buildy does not know what better means to you. Say what you do not like.
  • "Rebuild the whole site." Name the pages that need changes instead.
  • The same request again and again. If a change did not work twice, say what went wrong, or go back to an earlier version in Checkpoint History.

Examples

  • "Add a FAQ section at the bottom of the home page with these five questions and answers: ..."
  • "Replace the main photo on the home page with the image I attached."
  • "The menu covers the logo on my phone. Fix it."
  • "Add a booking form with name, email, phone, service and preferred date. Send me an email when someone books."
