My emails are not delivered or land in spam
Check that email sending shows Verified in Domain & Email, add any records Buildy still lists, then send yourself a test.
When emails bounce or land in spam, the cause is often a DNS record that is missing at your registrar. These records prove to Gmail and Outlook that the email really comes from your domain. Buildy shows you every record you need.
Steps
- Open Domain & Email and open Email sending. The domain must show Verified.
- If it does not, Buildy shows which records are not verified. Add them at your registrar exactly as Buildy shows them. Then click Check DNS. See Set up email sending.
- Send a test. Open a broadcast in Email & Text Broadcasts and use Send test with an email address you own.
- If the test still bounces while Email sending shows Verified, open Chat with support with the domain name.
Common problems
Gmail says "550 5.7.26 This mail is unauthenticated"
Your domain's email records are missing or wrong. Go through the steps above.
Emails go to spam even though Email sending shows Verified
Content and reputation matter too. Run Score spam words in the broadcast editor, keep a real address in the footer, send to people who signed up, and start with small sends from a new domain.
A specific contact never gets my emails
Check Contacts. If they are Unsubscribed, Buildy will not email them. Ask them to sign up again.
