Fix "This site can''t provide a secure connection" on my domain

This browser message means the security certificate for your domain is not ready yet. Buildy issues it automatically after the domain shows Verified. It usually takes a few minutes, sometimes longer. Nothing to buy or configure.

Steps

1. Open Domain & Email. The domain must show Verified. If it is Pending Verification, see that page first.
2. Wait a few minutes, then open the domain in a private browser window.
3. Still the error after an hour? Check the DNS records again. On Cloudflare, make sure the A record is DNS only. A proxied record blocks the certificate.
4. Make sure you removed every other A record on @ at your registrar.
5. If it is still not secure after a day, open Chat with support with the domain name.

Other causes

• You opened www.example.com but only added the A record. Add the www record too.
• Your browser kept an old certificate. Try a private window or another device.
