Buildy changed things I did not ask for
Restore the checkpoint from before the change in Checkpoint History, then ask again and say which page and what to change. Restoring is free.
If a change touched more than you wanted, go back to the version before it. Open Checkpoint History, restore the earlier checkpoint, and ask again. Restoring costs no credits.
Steps
- Click Checkpoint History at the top of the chat.
- Find the checkpoint saved just before the change and click Restore.
- Check Preview.
- Ask again, and say which page and what to change: "On the home page, change the heading to 'Fresh bread daily'."
Prevent it
- Say which page and what to change. See Get what you want from Buildy.
- Use the Visual Editor for text and color changes. It only touches what you click.
Common problems
The restore brought back an old bug too
Restore to the checkpoint you want, then ask Buildy to fix only that bug.
