Build sites for clients with the Agency plan
The Agency plan adds tools to find local businesses, build their site in your account, and hand it over with a Remix link.
With the Agency plan you build sites for other businesses from your own account. Buildy helps you find businesses that need a site, builds a first version from their public details, and lets you hand the finished site to the client.
Get the Agency plan
Open Profile Settings > Billing & Upgrades and click Talk to sales on the Agency plan. Agency includes the Max plan's credits, Agency tools and Customer memory. Your account also gets $30 of calls-and-texts balance a month.
Find clients
- On your home page, open the Agency Mode card and click Start prospecting.
- Enter a location and tick Only show businesses without a website. Click Search Businesses.
- Pick a business and click Build Website. Buildy collects its details, reviews and photos and builds a first version in a new project. Or click Enter business manually.
- Polish the site in chat like any project.
Click Agency training guide on the card for the sales playbook.
Hand a site to a client
Send the client a Remix link. In the project, click Publish & Share, then Get link under Remix link. The client needs their own paid Buildy plan and makes their own copy.
Keep the original in your account, or delete it after the hand-off.
What moves and what does not
Remix links and templates copy the website, design and code. Everything else is off until you tick it under Advanced copy options: Database records, Media library, Ad drafts, Social post drafts, Follow-ups and email marketing, AI Receptionist settings, Brand settings, and Include business info.
AI Receptionist settings copies the receptionist's name, voice, personality and greetings, without your transfer number. Brand settings copies the business name, tagline, colors and fonts.
Include business info is off by default. It copies the full guide into an independent, editable document. Check it first: any names, contact details or links written in the guide are included. Separate contact phone, email and address fields are not copied. Review older share links before including a converted guide.
Contacts, app users, phone numbers, connected social and ad accounts, saved keys and domains never copy. The client sets those up in their own account.
Common problems
The client's copy has no phone number
Phone numbers never copy. The client sets up their own Business Phone Number. See Business Phone Number.
I want to keep managing the site after hand-off
Ask the client to send you a Remix link of their copy. There is no shared access to one project between two accounts.
