Meet your new Buildy credits

Meet Building and Operating credits, see where your credits go, and learn how rollover, Bonus credits, and the new Max plan work.

Buildy's new credit system separates the work of building your business from the work of running it. You can now see both balances and the activities that use them in Settings > Usage.

Building credits and Operating credits

Building credits cover the work you create with Buildy: building and changing your website, researching ideas, and making campaigns and ads. Images created as part of that work use Building credits too.

Operating credits cover activities that run your business: AI features and images inside your published apps, customer-facing text agents, email sending, and AI-personalized follow-up.

The two balances have different values. A message does not always use one credit. The amount depends on the work involved, so larger tasks can use more credits than quick edits.

What can you do with your credits?

These are estimates for one request, not fixed prices. Actual usage depends on the work involved. Research, images, and extra revisions can use much more.

Building credits

ExampleEstimated credits
Change a heading or short piece of textAbout 1
Adjust colors, spacing, or a section's layoutAbout 2
Create the first version of a simple business websiteAbout 5
Add one page to an existing websiteAbout 4
Add a simple form, button, or interactionAbout 2
Create one social post with a standard imageAbout 10
Create one ad draft with a standard imageAbout 15

A simple first website means a basic business site or landing page, not a complete custom app. Website examples exclude new images. Social and ad examples include one standard image; videos, carousels, and extra images cost more.

Operating credits

ExampleEstimated credits
Generate one standard image inside your appAbout 50
Send one emailAbout 4.5
Send 100 emailsAbout 450

Email examples cover sending only. AI writing and personalization use additional Operating credits. Creating content with Buildy uses Building credits. Estimates may change as Buildy's models and features change.

See where your credits go

Open Settings > Usage to check your available credits, next reset date, and recent activity. You can see when credits were used and what they were used for.

Buildy voice minutes and video credits remain separate from Building and Operating credits. Available domain and marketing phone coupons are also shown in your account.

Monthly credits with rollover

Your plan includes a monthly allowance of Building and Operating credits. These reset each month, including on annual plans.

Unused monthly credits can roll over for one extra month, up to one month's allowance in each balance. For example, if your plan includes 500 Building credits and you have 100 left at reset, you start the next month with 500 new credits plus 100 rollover credits. Those rollover credits expire at the following reset.

Bonus credits are extras, such as gifts or balances carried over from the old system. They do not expire at the normal monthly reset. Plan downgrade and cancellation rules still apply.

You can also earn credits with Buildy Rewards. Turn the points you earn into Building or Operating credits. Credits from points do not expire at the monthly reset either. Learn how in Meet Buildy Rewards.

More room to build with Max

The new Max plan starts with 1,000 Building credits and 40,000 Operating credits per month. Higher capacity levels, up to Max 8, let you choose more monthly credits as your business grows.

Max also includes AI-personalized lead follow-up. AI uses the information captured about each lead to write individual follow-up emails and texts. Regular lead follow-up is available on the other paid plans too.

Check your new balances

Start with your Usage page to see what is available. To compare plans or choose more monthly credits, open Settings > Billing.

If a balance runs out, you can upgrade, turn Rewards points into credits, or wait for the next reset. Your published site stays online, although activities that need those credits may pause.
