# Run LinkedIn Ads

Buildy builds LinkedIn Sponsored Content campaigns and publishes them to your LinkedIn ad account. LinkedIn bills the ad spend to that account.

## Before you start

- A paid Buildy plan.
- An active ad account in LinkedIn Campaign Manager, with billing set up.
- Admin access to a LinkedIn Company Page. Your ads post as that Page.

## Steps

1. Open **Ads**. In **Ad network**, choose **LinkedIn**.
2. Click **Connect ad accounts** (or **Manage connections**), then choose **LinkedIn Ads** in the side panel. Then click **Connect**, sign in to LinkedIn, then pick your **Ad account** and **Organization**.
3. Click **New Campaign**. Enter a **Campaign Name** and pick an **Objective**.
4. Click **Generate with Buildy**. Buildy picks the audience and budget, builds draft ad sets and ads, and tells you what it chose in chat. Or click **Build Step-by-Step**.
5. Review the drafts. Each ad set needs a **Daily budget (USD)** of at least $10. Click the pencil icon to edit.
6. Click **Publish**, pick the ads, tick the box to confirm they spend your LinkedIn budget, and click **Publish**.

The ads run when LinkedIn approves them.

Use **Manage connections** and choose the platform to change its account or conversion tracking later. Close the panel to return to your campaigns.

## Good to know

- Published campaigns, ad sets and ads are locked. To change one, make a new draft.
- Click **Pause** on the campaign to stop spend, or **Resume** to restart. Click **Sync** for the latest LinkedIn status.
- If you disconnect or switch ad accounts, live campaigns keep running. Manage them in LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

## Common problems

### "No LinkedIn ad accounts found for this login"

Create an ad account in Campaign Manager, then click **Disconnect** and **Connect** again.

### "No LinkedIn Company Pages found"

Get admin access to your Company Page on LinkedIn, then disconnect and connect again.

### "Campaign isn't ready to publish"

The message says what to fix, such as a daily budget under $10. Fix it and publish again.

### "Needs an image before it can publish."

Open the ad and add an image with **Upload** or **Library**.

### "LinkedIn access was revoked"

Click **Reconnect** on the LinkedIn Ads card.
