Buildy can create a website or app and help you with marketing, contacts and customer support. You describe what you need in chat. [Learn what Buildy does](/docs/getting-started/what-buildy-does). #### Do I need to know how to code? No. Describe what you want in chat, and Buildy builds it for you. [Create your first project](/docs/getting-started/create-your-first-project). #### What if I am not sure what to do next? Just ask Buildy in your project chat. Tell Buildy what you want to do or what you are unsure about, and it can help guide you. [Learn how to chat with Buildy](/docs/build/chat-with-buildy). #### How do I get help? In a project, click **Help** in the header, then **Contact support**. On a phone, tap the question-mark icon in the header. Help also stays in **Dashboard > Help** or, on a phone, **Tools > Help**. The support assistant can open a ticket for the team when your issue needs a person. [Get help from support](/docs/getting-started/get-help). ### Sites and domains #### How do I publish my site? Open **Publish & Share**, or **Publish** on a phone, then click **Publish**. Publish again when you want later changes to appear on your live site. [See the publishing steps](/docs/publish/publish-your-site). #### Can I use my own domain? Yes. You can connect a domain you already own or buy one through Buildy. Give Buildy your website address in chat and ask it to rebuild the site. Forms, logins, payments and bookings need to be set up again. [Import your website](/docs/build/import-your-website). #### Do I own my code, and can I export it? Yes. You can download your site's code as a zip. Buildy services and saved data need to be set up separately if you host elsewhere. [Export your code](/docs/build/export-your-code). ### Credits and billing #### What are credits, and when do they reset? Building credits pay for work in chat. Operating credits pay for things your business runs, such as email and AI in your app. Your plan credits refill monthly. Check your profile menu for your next reset date. If you run out of Building credits, new work in chat stops. If you run out of Operating credits, app AI and email sending pause, but your site stays live. [Get more credits](/docs/billing/get-more-credits). #### What if my card payment fails? Update your card in **Profile Settings > Billing & Upgrades**. If the payment still fails, check your card's expiry date and billing address, or ask your bank if it blocked the charge. [Fix a failed payment](/docs/billing/update-payment-card). #### How do I cancel, and can I get a refund? Cancel in **Profile Settings > Billing & Upgrades**. Your plan stops renewing, and Buildy does not offer refunds. [Cancel your plan](/docs/billing/cancel-your-plan) and [read about refunds](/docs/billing/refunds). ### Fix a problem #### My domain is stuck on "Pending Verification" Buildy cannot see your domain record yet. Check the records at your domain provider, then click **Verify** in Buildy. [Fix pending verification](/docs/domains-email/pending-verification). #### My changes do not show on the live site Publish your changes again, then open your live site in a private window. [See what to check](/docs/publish/changes-do-not-show). #### My emails are not delivered or land in spam Check that your domain shows **Verified** under **Domain & Email > Email sending**. [Fix email delivery](/docs/domains-email/emails-not-delivered). #### Why did my site fail to publish? Click **Publish** once more. If it fails again, click **Ask Buildy to fix it** on the card in chat. [Fix a failed publish](/docs/troubleshooting/failed-to-publish). #### I cannot find my projects Check the email under your profile picture. You may be signed in to a different account. [Find your projects](/docs/account/find-my-projects). ## How these guides work Every guide names the exact buttons and screens in Buildy. Most pages have a Common problems part near the end. If you see an error message, paste it into the search box. If you cannot find what you need, click **Ask support** at the bottom right. The support assistant answers from these guides.
