# Fix "This site can''t provide a secure connection" on my domain

This browser message means the security certificate for your domain is not ready yet. Buildy issues it automatically after the domain shows **Verified**. It usually takes a few minutes, sometimes longer. Nothing to buy or configure.

## Steps

1. Open **Domain & Email**. The domain must show **Verified**. If it is **Pending Verification**, see [that page](/docs/domains-email/pending-verification) first.
2. Wait a few minutes, then open the domain in a private browser window.
3. Still the error after an hour? Check the DNS records again. On Cloudflare, make sure the A record is **DNS only**. A proxied record blocks the certificate.
4. Make sure you removed every other A record on `@` at your registrar.
5. If it is still not secure after a day, open **Chat with support** with the domain name.

## Other causes

- You opened `www.example.com` but only added the A record. Add the `www` record too.
- Your browser kept an old certificate. Try a private window or another device.
