# Generate images

Ask for an image in chat the way you ask for anything else: "Create a hero image of a sunny bakery storefront." Buildy makes the image, puts it where you asked, and saves it in **Images & Video > Photos**.

## Steps

1. In chat, describe the image and where it goes: "Make a logo for Sunrise Bakery, simple, warm colors, and put it in the header."
2. Buildy creates the image and shows the result in **Preview**.
3. Not right? Say what to change: "Make it brighter and remove the text."
4. Click **Publish & Share** to put it live.

Image creation uses Building credits. The cost shows under the reply.

## Tips for better images

- Say the style: photo, flat illustration, 3D, watercolor.
- Say the mood and colors: "warm, soft light, cream and brown".
- Say what must not be in it: "no text, no people".
- For a logo, keep it simple and ask for a transparent background.
- Buildy also makes images for social posts and ads. Each post in **Social Media** and each ad in **Ads** has its own image step.

## Use your own photos instead

Real photos of your business often work better than generated ones. Click **Attach** and upload them. See [Add images, logos and files](/docs/build/add-images-and-files).

## Common problems

### The image has strange text or hands

Generated images sometimes get details wrong. Ask again with "no text" or "no hands", or try a different style.

### I want to reuse an image on another page

Open **Images & Video > Photos**, find the image, and click **Use in chat**. Then say where it goes.
