# Change your plan or switch to yearly

Change your plan on **Profile Settings > Billing & Upgrades**. Each plan card shows the button that applies to you: **Upgrade now**, **Downgrade now**, **Switch to yearly** or **Current plan**.

## Upgrade

1. Click **Upgrade now** on the plan you want.
2. Check the price and click **Confirm upgrade**. Your card is charged the full price of the new plan now.
3. The full new allowance is added to the credits you still have. A new billing month starts today.

On a yearly plan, an upgrade charges the difference for the rest of the year. Your renewal date stays the same.

## Downgrade

1. Click **Downgrade now** on the plan you want.
2. Read what you lose: credits above the new plan's allowance and rollover limit, and features the new plan does not have.
3. Click **Confirm Downgrade**. The change is immediate. Buildy does not offer refunds.

## Switch from monthly to yearly

1. Click **Yearly** at the top of the plans.
2. Click **Switch to yearly** on your current plan.
3. Check the amount due and click **Confirm yearly billing**.

The unused part of your current month is taken off the yearly charge. Credits still reset monthly. You cannot switch from yearly back to monthly yourself. Open **Chat with support**.

## Common problems

### I upgraded but my reset date changed

A monthly upgrade starts a new billing month on the day you pay. That is expected.

### I downgraded by mistake

Click **Upgrade now** on your old plan. You are charged for it again, and the full allowance is added.
