# Cancel your plan

Cancel on **Profile Settings > Billing & Upgrades** with **Cancel Subscription**. Your plan stops renewing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.

## Steps

1. Click your profile picture, then **Profile Settings**, then **Billing & Upgrades**.
2. Click **Cancel Subscription**.
3. Read the list of what you lose. Click **Yes, I understand I'll lose all of this**.
4. Type why you are cancelling and click **Next**.
5. Click **Yes, Cancel Subscription**.

You see "Renewal stopped. Your paid access continues until ...". To keep your plan, click **Resume Plan** on the same page before that date.

## What you lose when you cancel

- All credits you did not buy with money: monthly credits, rollover credits and bonus credits, including Rewards points you converted.
- Your Rewards points and prize tickets.
- Buildy cannot build or make changes until you choose a plan again.
- Domains bought through Buildy stop renewing. Each one stops working when its paid year ends.
- Phone numbers are released. You cannot get the same number back.
- Add-ons stop at the end of their own paid period.

## Cancel a trial

A trial ends at once when you cancel. Your card is not charged.

## Common problems

### I cancelled but I was still charged

Check the date of the charge. Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not undo a charge made before you cancelled. Buildy does not offer refunds. See [Invoices and receipts](/docs/billing/invoices-and-receipts).
