# Install Buildy on your phone or computer

Click your profile picture, then **Profile Settings**. Under **Install Buildy as an app**, click **Install Buildy**. On Chrome, Edge and most Android phones, your browser asks you to confirm. On other browsers, Buildy shows the steps for your browser.

## iPhone and iPad

iPhone and iPad have no one-tap install. Add Buildy from the browser menu:

1. In Safari, tap the **Share** button. If you do not see it, tap the three dots (**...**) next to the address bar, then tap **Share**.
2. Scroll down the list and tap **Add to Home Screen**.
3. Tap **Add**. If you see **Open as Web App**, leave it on.

In Chrome on iPhone, the **Share** button is in the address bar. The other steps are the same.

> [!NOTE]
> If you opened Buildy from a link in Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or another app, you are in that app's built-in browser. It cannot add Buildy to your home screen. Tap the three dots (**...**), then **Open in Safari** or **Open in external browser**, and try again.

## Android

Open the browser menu (three dots), then tap **Install app** or **Add to Home screen**.

## Computer

- **Chrome or Edge**: click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.
- **Safari on Mac**: choose **File**, then **Add to Dock**.
- **Firefox on Windows**: click the web apps button at the right end of the address bar.
- **Firefox on Mac or Linux** cannot install web apps. Use Chrome or Edge.

If you do not see the option named here, update your browser or use Chrome or Edge.
